Paint Products:
High Country Painting uses only the best materials for a better
looking and longer lasting finished product. Paint stores offer different qualities of paints to meet the needs of the customers.
The higher the cost of paint usually means that they will look better and last longer when applied. Another option that goes
into selecting paint is to choose the right type of sheen. Interior sheens include; flat, eggshell, satin semi-gloss and gloss.
Most people use eggshell for interior walls as opposed to flat these days because of its scrub ability and choose to do kitchens,
bathrooms and woodwork in a semi-gloss or gloss sheen for even more protection in these areas. Exterior paints are sold in
either flat, satin, semi-gloss or gloss depending on what your painting. Two things you want to be sure of with exterior latex
paint; which is the material used most often in this part of the country is that the product should be 100% acrylic base and
should always be applied according to the manufacturers labeled directions on the back of the can, this will maximize the
paints performance while protecting your investment.
